Progress

Lexitron is moving swiftly, but there’s still a lot of work to be done. Today I forked out the $100 to become a bona fide iPhone developer, so I got to play the game on actual hardware instead of the crusty old simulator.

I’ve teamed up with my friend Neseus, an amazing graphic designer, for Lexitron 2.0. I’ll get some screens or a video up eventually, but here’s a teaser for the mean time– this is the graphic you’ll see when a ‘b’ comes up in your word:

Awesome!! I am getting SUPER excited! Any ideas of how much you are going to charge and also when you will be submitting the final release to Apple? (Who knows how long they are going to take to get it to use once you submit it! I have heard their approval process is taking FOREVER and annoying many developers)

Great news. I’ve been checking this every day to see if you’ve made progress. Good Luck!

Amen to that. I broke down and bought “Word Warp” today, not having read that Lexitron was on its way. What a lame, ugly, clunky game! If I had never played Lexitron, I might have thought WW was passable, but having once tasted the sweet wine of Lexitron, anything else is just sour grapes. Can’t wait for the return of Lex; I’ll happily fork over a few more bucks for it.

I like it but it doesn’t look very “iPhony”. I think the old look fit in better.

Would love to see a desktop/laptop version of Lexitron!!! Any chance of this? Or is it out there and I haven’t discovered it yet? Thanks!
